About me
My name is Carley, I am a photographer based in Farmington, NM. I love to shoot outdoors and capture images of people as they are. I try to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible, make them laugh and catch them as they are. Please browse through my portfolio so you can get a sense of my style and see if its right for you.
What to expect
The session will be laid back. No rush. It will take between one and two hours to get those perfect photographs. You choose where you want the session to be; on location, at your home, in a park. down-town for an urban look or anywhere you would like. If you're unsure, just ask me and we'll see what might represent you best.
After the session
Your proofs will be ready within 14 days after your session. I will contact you once your images are ready so we can set up an appointment. There will be between 15 and 20 proofs to choose from. You will receive a high quality resolution disk and a print release to shutterfly.com. (see directions at the end on how to get great prints!)
What to wear
It's hard to tell, but as a guideline, something you are comfortable in! Avoid big bold patterns. Do not be afraid to express who you are. At the beginning of each session I will have you show me each outfit you have brought along so I can pick out which backgrounds would go best with each clothing choice. I like to do only three clothing changes, if you would like to bring a variety and have me help you choose, I’d love to help. If you need any suggestions, please ask!

The fee for a session with me is $150.
How to get great prints from your disk
I have just given you a disk of high resolution photographs. How can you get professional looking prints? I cannot stress to you enough the importance of great pictures. If you follow the directions I have provided, you can get great prints we can all be proud of!
1. You will need to go to http://www.shutterfly.com/ and set up an account with them in order for you to purchase prints.
2. Now you need to upload the CD onto their website. They have great step by step directions on how to do this.
3. Next you will need to disable the auto correct; it is located under the effects option. This is a vital step in making sure you will get awesome prints! My computer programs have already done all of the color corrections needed and this step in not necessary.
4. Now you need to preview each picture image before you order the size you have selected. You don’t want missing limbs or family members! With the size you have selected, you can then choose what part of the pictures will be cropped out. Pictures cannot be printed at every size with out having to do some adjusting.
5. Now submit your order! In a few days, amazing pictures will arrive at your door!
